My favorite new dashboard to watch is our robot delivery dashboard. We are only delivering to 2 units (ER and CVICU) so far, while we ramp up to operating to a total of 7 units soon. Today, the team opted to use the robot 16 times. May not seem like a lot but we have a huge hospital. With a 9 minute time to delivery, that means the robot gets the meds to the unit pharmacist or nurse in 4.5 minutes. Sixteen runs is 144 minutes and that means my team spent 2 hours and 24 minutes LESS time walking today. I’m good with that! Richtech Robotics

Everyone was excited to see our robot, Dewey, make his first delivery to the CVICU today. Our CVICU is the second highest area we make STAT drips for in our hospital. Often times, our CVICU pharmacist becomes the runner to the pharmacy. I’m happy to take that task away from her! I really appreciate how the CVICU team has embraced this option with positive leadership and a willingness to work with the Richtech Robotics team to create the best plan for this vital and extremely busy unit!
