Richardson Ice Breakers is a diverse and friendly Toastmasters club with over 40 years of serving the DFW community! Thanks our hybrid meeting format, our club membership is now open to anyone who desires to improve their skills, We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 7pm to 8pm CT. both in person and over Zoom. In person - St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church, 1220 Belt Line Road, Richardson. Over Zoom - contact us for the join meeting link and credentials, thanks to the hybrid meetings option, we welcomed our first International member in 2022!

One of the most important elements of communication is whether people actually understand you. Because no matter how beautiful or impactful your words are, if people can’t understand you, it’s pointless. ? One often overlooked element of speaking is articulation. Pronouncing each word clearly. This is a simple yet effective drill you can use before getting on stage, jumping on a Zoom call, or making a phone call. And all you need is a PEN! ??? By putting the pen horizontally between your teeth and speaking, it forces you to you exaggerate your mouth movements, improving the clarity of your speech.
