We've reached another milestone in our 50th year. Metal Construction News has listed us as one of the top 100 metal builders in the USA for 2024. We're the only contractor in Kansas to make the list. This is a big deal in our industry and we're one of 35 Butler Manufacturing builders to make the top 100. We've always been a "hands on" contractor with an owner working with the crew to erect steel buildings in our region. In the last two years, we've expanded to offer consulting and building parts/packages in other geographic areas. We've helped with projects from Hawaii, to the Caribbean and Europe. So much credit goes to the members of our small team. They approach problems as opportunities and create strong partnerships with customers. When people lay out their metal building space, they mostly design for floor space. But, the most underutilized space within a metal building is usually above your head. Using a mezzanine system is a valuable way to increase the capacity of your metal building. Over the last 18 months, we've installed many of Butler Manufacturing's new Express Mezz system. We've built them for warehousing, parts storage, equipment platforms, training rooms and even a recreational room in a personal shop space. #steelbuildings #metalbuildings #mezzanine #butlerbuilders

Insurance isn't particularly exciting to most, but it's an important aspect of constructing, or owning, a metal building. I do appreciate Dave's time on clearing some things up.

We had a recent project that required adding a much taller building to an older structure that wasn't designed for much of a snow load. We discuss part of our solution to prevent the added modification costs and shut down on the existing buildings. Pardon the wind noise...

We had a special visit this week. We provided a tour of a recent customer project with our Butler Area Manager - Bob Patton, Region Sales Manager -Yixin Mu, and Butler President - Christen Funk. After the tour, they presented us with a nice gift to commemorate 50 years.

Over the last year, we've had multiple opportunities to help customers in new areas. Our latest adventure is a small Butler Manufacturing building solution for Bahamas Power & Light on Abaco, Bahamas. We worked with them on the application and product design and we're here to support their team, virtually, as they construct the new facility. #steelconstruction #butlerbuildings
