Inc. is an established Syracuse based Commercial Construction Company seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager who will be responsible for the overall management of assigned commercial construction projects from pre-construction through close out. They will interface with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and assigned project staff to ensure projects meet all construction specifications and contractual requirements while also meeting or exceeding company expectations. Job Qualifications Minimum 2 year or 4 year college degree in construction technology, construction management or related field. Minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience. In depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, schedules and regulations. Experience with estimating and selling. Demonstrated understanding of project cost reports, financial records, productivity measurement and related project documents. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage and oversee a diverse team of vendors, suppliers and staff to meet contractual requirements. Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines. Computer proficiency with Microsoft office suite and construction related software required. They will interface with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and assigned project staff to ensure projects meet all construction specifications and contractual requirements while also meeting or exceeding company expectations. Responsibilities: - Supervise construction projects from start to finish - Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks - Monitor project expenses, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines - Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction crews - Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met - Review and interpret construction plans and blueprints - Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control - Address any issues or delays that arise during construction - Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and RFIs Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods - OSHA 30 Certification - Familiarity with quantity take offs - Excellent leadership and supervisory skills - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
