We are deeply saddened by the passing of Quincy Jones, whose life and legacy have left an indelible mark on the world of music and culture. Quincy was a boy living in Bremerton when he discovered his love of music, and Quincy’s story of resilience and boundless creativity has been an inspiration to our community. His remarkable career, from groundbreaking music production to cultural trailblazing, has set a standard of excellence that transcends time. ? We are honored to be part of creating Quincy Square in his memory, carrying forward his legacy of creativity, community, and connection to his roots here in Bremerton. Quincy Square is designed to be a space for creativity, connection, and celebration—a tribute to the spirit Quincy shared with the world. The project, soon to be under construction, will be a vibrant community space, and though Quincy will not see its completion, his impact on our city and beyond will continue to inspire generations.

Last week, we celebrated the Grand Opening of Boise Station 5! Idaho’s busiest firehouse is now also its first net-zero energy-ready station in the state, raising the bar for sustainable public facilities downtown.?. With features like rooftop solar and electric charging readiness, Station 5 is designed to serve both the community and the planet. Congratulations to Boise City Fire Department on this milestone! ??

We had a fantastic time hosting Washington State University Interior Design students on Wednesday! Led by our WSU alumni staff, the students toured the RFM office and took part in thoughtful discussions about the vital role of Interior Design in shaping the built environment. Rice Fergus Miller is pleased to announce that Cowlitz 911 Dispatch Facility has won the Citation Award at the 2024 AIA Washington Council Civic Awards!?These annual awards celebrate and honor publicly funded projects across Washington state that exemplify the finest standards in innovation, sustainability, building performance, and overall integration with the client and surrounding community. Located in Longview, WA, this 13,000 square foot emergency response facility provides a nurturing environment that prioritizes the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of 911 dispatchers. ? ? The judges recognized the thoughtful integration of the 'Nature is Nurture' design concept, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of first responders. The facility’s design not only enhances efficiency and security but also fosters a sense of pride and well-being for those who serve our community. ? Tulalip Resort Casino’s expansion and renovation is making great progress, and Rice Fergus Miller is proud to serve as the Interior Designer for this exciting project.

We're proud to announce the completion of Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue Station 57 in Lake Symington. This 10,993 sq. ft. facility, featuring 4 apparatus bays and 5 dorms, is built to support the growing community for years to come.
