GulfHost 2024! I was honored to participate as a panelist in the Foodservice Excellence Summit at GulfHost, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on November 6, 2024. The session, "Foodservice Consultancy in the Middle East 2040," brought together industry leaders to discuss the current state and future of foodservice in the region. We’re excited to share that the new Technology Campus Amenity received an?IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter?2024 INaward in the INhospitality category at last night’s award ceremony – congratulations to the entire project team! Graham Baba collaborated with?LMN Architects?to create 90,000-square-feet of new dining and retail spaces encompassing nearly the entire ground floor of two buildings inside this 17-building, 70-acre redevelopment at the core of the global technology company’s corporate campus in Redmond, Washington. This week, we hosted a Continuing Education Seminar at Arctic East in Miami, FL for esteemed foodservice consultants from FCSI The Americas. Our guests joined us for a fantastic welcome dinner at Gianni's Restaurant at the Versace Mansion in South Beach, followed by a firsthand look at how Arctic is shaping the future of the walk-in industry, and a series of presentations from thought leaders. Starting with a guided tour of our factory by CEO, Brian Murphy, this unique experience highlighted our commitment to excellence in walk-in engineering, design, and manufacturing and the differentiation that sets Arctic apart. Later, we discussed trends and challenges facing the foodservice industry including new refrigeration regulations for 2025 and 2026, company succession planning, the stainless steel market, and how to market to architects. Special thanks to our brilliant speakers Lenny Condenzio (Ricca Design Studios), Scott Reitano (Reitano Design Group), Patrick Gribbin (HTPG), and Tom Flynn (Specialty Rolled Metals (SRM) whose expertise and passion brought invaluable insights and all our attendees Alice Stipe, Matt Daley, Rick Sevieri, Lu Schildmeyer, Tim Agosti, Maira Zanchetti, Alison O'Hearn, Nick Morales, Katja Beck, William Cromwell, George P., Jeff Brown, and Paul Guillaume.
