Our team in Sibiu, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, joined the ORIGINN Interreg Europe project event, discussing social innovation in rural and agri-food policies! ?? Specifically, this meeting brought together representatives from the ORIGINN project (EE, ES, IE, IT, RO, SE, SK) as well as from national, regional and local organisations responsible for developing policies to support social innovation in rural areas, in the agro-food sector, as well as organisations from the Central Region of #Romania. During the event, #RIBES explored #synergies with ORIGINN, focusing on #tools and #best #practices in #social #innovation while discussing the gaps in agri-food policies and the need for capacity building to measure policy impacts effectively. ???????? One of the three pillars of the GreenMeUp Project, is societal awareness. It is a fundamental part of the project to raise awareness of the benefits that biomethane can provide in terms sustainability, being a renewable resource. Today, we hold our First Mutual Learning Workshop. ?? Igor Kos, presented interesting insights about the development of a Circular Bioeconomy Strategy under the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) methodology prospective from the experience of the Podravje-Maribor region in SLovenia. Next on the agenda are: ??Presentation and discussion on the ROBIN project Toolbox elements from a technical and regional perspective. ??Explanation of the external validation phase and ROBIN Open Call. ??Presentation of the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) Self-assessment tool. ??Presentation of other tools created within the framework of Horizon Europe projects such as Biomodel4Regions,?BIOTRANSFORM project,?CEE2ACT Project?and?SUSTRACK which can support #circular #bioeconomy development. Together with us are the RIBES project & MainstreamBIO Project, two projects that share the same vision, to advance bioeconomy development!
