Ribbit Network had the pleasure of presenting a poster and attending NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration's GML 2024?Global Monitoring Annual Conference in Boulder, CO this week. We presented some of our first results on the analysis of low-cost Co2 concentration sensors at our partner locations in Oregon, USA, and Zurich, Switzerland. Building relationships with incredible scientists working on global monitoring of all kinds is an important and interesting part of Ribbit Network's mission as an open-source, nonprofit. Thanks to all of our supporters and volunteers who support us in this work. If you are interested in collaborating or volunteering to help build out low-cost greenhouse gas monitoring, drop a comment below or reach out to us on our site! We have many exciting projects this summer including a solar-powered sensor and the start of a methane sensor. #climate #noaa #ribbitnetwork #monitoring #science #citizenscience #co2 #nonprofit #research

Just completed a great Ribbit Network event with a group of students in Tarboro, NC. It was a great success and everyone seemed to really enjoying building the Frog sensors. There were around 100 students that built 30 Frogs! I'll have better pictures and videos to come soon! There was a whole documentary film crew there, which will have some great videos shortly. These events are only possible thanks to the great work that this open-source community does. Couldn’t be more thankful to have built such a great group of volunteers. Thanks also to Joules Accelerator for being the great connector that made this event happen. Many more to thank, but it was so fun. More Frog sensors for climate, coming soon! #climate #steameducation #opensource

Exciting News: Ribbit Network Announced as Our $5K Grant Recipient! We are pleased to announce that Ribbit Network has been selected as our $5,000 grant recipient! This decision comes after their impactful utilization of our previous $1,000 grant, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to their mission. Since receiving our initial grant, Ribbit Network has achieved significant milestones, including establishing a formal 501(c)(3) non-profit. Their open-source designs for Frog Sensors have garnered a community of over 200 members who've collectively deployed 200 sensors worldwide. Ribbit Network's vision goes beyond achievements; they are gearing up to offer sensor kits for sale to the public, aiming to surpass the 1000-sensor mark and establish a recurring revenue pipeline to provide kits for educators and citizen scientists. Your support and engagement with Ribbit Network have played a crucial role in their journey so far, and we invite you to celebrate their achievements with us.
