Today, on World Migrants Day, we celebrate the courage, resilience, and contributions of migrants around the globe. At the Rian Immigrant Center, we are proud to support and empower migrants as they build new lives and stronger communities. #InternationalMigrantsDay

Rian Immigrant Center has always been a lifeline for those navigating the complexities of immigration. But now, new potential policies on the horizon threaten the foundation of critical legal programs like medical deferred action. This vital protection has allowed individuals, many of them children, to temporarily access lifesaving medical care without fear of deportation. With the new administration, these protections are at risk, forcing families to make impossible choices between their health and their safety. While we don’t yet know the full scope of policy changes ahead, the threats are severe, and the impact could be catastrophic.
