A special thanks to Kevin M. Lynch for his tremendous impact on eradicating stigma around mental health and substance abuse conditions, helping individuals know they are not alone and encouraging them to speak out and access care. Our Why: One in 10 individuals suffer from Alcohol Use Disorder leading to reduced productivity and increased alcohol associated physical and mental health conditions. Only 7% seek care - largely due to stigma and lack of awareness or access to effective solutions. Ria Health’s comprehensive program leverages FDA approved medications (MATs) for alcohol use - but only a small % of those that suffer are receiving them.
