Jam Packed November Network Meeting this Friday 11/15, 10:30am-12:00pm as we dive into Apprenticeship, Service Learning & Equity! We are excited to host Kasey Johnson, Employer Relations Manager from Building Futures, who will lead a discussion on the future of Apprenticeship in the Out-of-School Time (OST) space. Would you like students to complete CTE credentials or explore careers? Do your students participate in enrichment courses within the All-Course Network? “Launching a quality summer learning program is akin to launching the school year, only with less time for planning and execution.” (Getting to Work on Summer Learning, Schwartz, 2018) Get a head start! Join Rhode Island Department of Education(RIDE) for a summer learning planning day. With guidance from the District Summer Learning Network, participants will receive sustainability tools and road maps to begin the summer learning planning for Summer of 2025. LEAs are encouraged to bring a team of participants including district and school leaders, school counselors, content and curriculum coaches, school committee members, community-based organizations, and municipality partners!
