The mission of RISE is to provide scholarships and mentoring to children of currently and formerly incarcerated parents in order to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty, crime and addiction that too often threatens them. RISE is always looking for volunteers to work 1:1 with children ages 6-14 enrolled in our program. Please contact the RISE office at 401-421-2010 for more information.

RISE works to ensure the educational success of children with incarcerated parents thus ending the cycle of poverty, crime and addiction. It's all about the Choices, making them and providing them. Today Bank of America volunteers participated in discussing better money habits ! Three tips that were featured : ?? Save money from each pay check so that if something were to happen at work, you have that saved up. ?? Pay it back: In simple terms, don’t let anything go past due. ?? If you’re overwhelmed, go in and talk to people. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
