We would like to thank the Bunnell family for supporting the foundation in memory of their daughter Eleanor. We met this sweet family after we assisted them in 2021 with Eleanor’s funeral expenses. They have held multiple fundraisers and given back to the foundation by expanding our ”Love and Comfort” package program to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene in 2023. Their most recent delivery in October for Eleanor’s 3rd birthday included 40 “Love and Comfort” packages! The Rhett Sullivan Foundation had the privilege of partnering with Hilton Direct on their "Travel with Purpose Week" initiative. In honor of Infant and Pregnancy Loss Month, Victoria Reyes wanted to give back in memory of her son Henry, who was stillborn in October 2023. After Henry’s passing the foundation assisted her family with the balance of a headstone for Henry. Victoria works for Hilton and presented the idea for their monthly give back initiative. Hilton purchased all the items and assembled 48 “Love and Comfort” packages for two hospital’s Labor & Delivery floors. We recently delivered those packages with Victoria and the Hilton team to Medical City Dallas and Medical City Plano. Thank you to Victoria and Hilton for choosing our foundation for this amazing give back! As we close out the month of October and Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness month we want to remember our mission of helping families that face early child loss. We want them to know they are not alone, someone cares about them and what they are going through. Thank you to Kendra Gonzales who creates our yearly golf tournament video that recaps what we do, who we help and helps us to remember the real reason the foundation was created. The 6th Annual Rhett Sullivan Foundation Golf Tournament was such a success a few weeks ago! Join us tonight for the International Wave of Light at 7pm. The International Wave of Light is an annual ceremony honoring babies who have passed during pregnancy, childbirth, or infancy. Tonight at 7 PM local time, light a candle and leave it burning for at least an hour.
