RF Health is the premier provider of data-driven med-tech devices and healthcare solutions that revolutionize the process of early mobilization, blood clot (VTE) prevention, and post-operative care. We are passionate about solving patient and healthcare team member challenges with evidence-based solutions. We are at the forefront of preventative healthcare, leveraging medical device technology to promote healthier lifestyles and reduce hospital-acquired conditions. Our data-driven prevention approach ensures that our devices enhance patient outcomes and provide measurable benefits. Our customers include hospitals and healthcare teams focused on enhancing the quality of care and driving change. The Importance of Early Mobilization When a patient is admitted to the hospital for surgery or illness, they can spend up to 95% of their stay in bed, resulting in potential complications that can occur as a result of immobility. Implementing early progressive mobilization is associated with improved functional outcomes, reduced hospital costs, and decreased length of stay. RF Health Products We uniquely build our products using a nurse-and patient-centric design that incorporates the critical perspective of these users. ?MAC: The world's first wearable therapeutic compression device that measures and displays real-time patient mobility data. It mimics the body’s natural physiological return of blood to the heart through the calf muscle pump. Its proprietary force algorithms deliver three times over baseline femoral vein response to avoid venous stasis during recovery. Traditional pneumatic compression devices are often noisy, uncomfortable, and restrict patient mobility, leading to high refusal rates. Our patented cordless and tubeless mechanical compression device is quiet, comfortable, and allows for greater mobility. ?Elevate: Designed to effectively offload the sacrum and seamlessly contour the body to enhance comfort, reduce boosting, and increase compliance.

We’re excited to recap a great recent collaboration, when we invited MBA students from Butler University’s Lacy School of Business into the conference room to apply their fresh learnings and cumulative knowledge to add value for RF Health. In this series, we’ll interview a few core players including the professor, students and RF Health’s President Jason Bobay, a graduate from Lacy himself.?

Sacral pressure injuries are a pervasive and preventable challenge in U.S. hospitals — representing the single largest contributor to avoidable complications — posing an urgent call to action in patient care. Despite efforts to prevent them, hospital-acquired sacral pressure injuries continue to result in morbidity, mortality, and associated increased healthcare costs. Today is Worldwide Pressure Injury Prevention Day, and we’re proud to help address this critical healthcare issue with our ELEVATE? Patient Positioners featuring proprietary Envelopment Technology?, which effectively offload the sacrum and seamlessly contour the body to reduce boosting while enhancing patient comfort and compliance. Read more about how advances in patient positioning can help improve sacral pressure injury prevention in our latest blog post: https://hubs.ly/Q02Z1cfn0 #PressureInjuryPrevention #StopPressureInjuries #PressureInjuryPreventionDay #HealthcareInnovation #PatientCare #HospitalAcquiredImmobility #EarlyMobilization #PatientSafety

?? ?? Hot off the press - new study on the MAC System! ?? ?? Venous thromboembolism, or VTE, is a leading preventable cause of death in hospitalized patients. Unfortunately, fewer than half of patients receive appropriate preventive treatment. A new study in the American Journal of Nursing (AJN) highlights the potential of The MAC System to improve patient outcomes and reduce the risk of VTE. Researchers found The MAC System to be clinically useful for both preventing VTE and enhancing patient comfort, which in turn can promote adherence. Increased adherence may lead to improved patient mobility, impacting a number of other in-hospital quality outcomes. Compared with the current standard of care, The MAC System demonstrated significantly longer wear time, with more patients wearing it for at least 18 hours per day. This study underscores our drive to rethink the standard of care for VTE prevention. https://hubs.ly/Q02YXTNF0 #VTEPrevention #PatientOutcomes #PatientCare #PatientSafety #PatientMobility

??? Patients can spend up to 95% of their hospital stay in bed This can lead to hospital-acquired immobility, a condition that can cause serious complications such as muscle atrophy, joint stiffness, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pressure ulcers, and longer recovery times. At RF Health, we are encouraging early movement with innovative solutions like the Movement And Compressions System – a tubeless, cordless alternative that tracks and measures patient mobility data, empowering patients to beat yesterday, today. ?? The Hidden Costs of Hospital-Acquired Immobility Hospital-acquired immobility is a serious issue in healthcare. It can lead to costly medical interventions, extended length of stay, longer recovery times, and hospital readmissions, ultimately increasing healthcare costs. The economic impacts of hospital-acquired immobility include: ? Prolonged length of stay, at an average cost of $3,167 per day for nonprofit hospitals in the US ? Complications: legal and liability costs, chronic conditions, costly hospital readmissions, and systemic costs ? Preventable deep vein thrombosis (DVT): $2.5B annually, with each case resulting in an estimated hospital cost of $17,367 Early and progressive mobilization is crucial for preventing hospital-acquired immobility. By investing in technologies such as wearable therapeutic compression devices that eliminate common barriers to mobility, hospitals can reduce the length of stay and achieve potential cost savings of up to $2,769,437. Read our blog post to learn more about the economic impact of hospital-acquired immobility and how early mobilization can improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs: https://hubs.ly/Q02X7kf-0 #HospitalAcquiredImmobility #EarlyMobilization #PatientOutcomes #PatientCare #HealthcareEconomics

We had a great time last week at the #MagnetPTECon - thanks to everyone who dropped by our booth to learn how our innovative products address recurring pain points for #nurses while keeping patients safe by preventing dangerous sacral pressure injuries and blood clots and improving patient outcomes in the hospital. Here are some highlights: ? The winners of our "Show Us Your Steps!" contest really stepped up with 23k steps on Wednesday, and 28k steps on Thursday. What a spook-tacular showing! ? We put the MAC System on 15+ attendees and gave lots of folks a hands-on experience touching and feeling the difference of our ELEVATE Patient Positioners. ? Lots of our booth visitors were shocked to hear that the MAC System is completely cordless and tubeless – and that it tracks mobility data! We made connections, had great conversations and a lot of fun! Hope to see you all again next year. #DVTPrevention #PressureWoundPrevention #HospitalAcquiredImmobility #PatientSafety #PatientCare #EarlyMobility #PatientMobility
