Did you know that you can get up to ?? $9,600 PER EMPLOYEE ?? in tax credits for hiring folks who have historically faced barriers to finding and securing employment? Today, I learned about rézme, which helps make fair chance hiring simple. They provide tools to?recruit, train, and retain?candidates with prior justice system involvement. If your company or organization is interested in tapping into the pool of 1.2 Million Oklahomans who have a record, rézme can help make your life easier! ?? Not only can the program help you assess the candidate's history with fairness, they also make sure YOU as the employer receive the Work Opportunity Tax Credit once you hire the candidate. Thousands of dollars in taxes back in your pocket, and lives changed for the better. Sounds like a deal to me. If you're interested in learning more, definitely reach out to Jodi Anderson Jr. or Ryan Brennan!!

rézme in action at the National Basketball Association (NBA) Foundation All-Star Pitch Competition last week (where they won!), as well at Amplitude's all-hands meeting this week ... truly a very special company, I'm full of respect and admiration of what Jodi Anderson Jr. and Ryan Brennan have done so far and where they are heading ??
The National Basketball Association (NBA), Commissioner Adam Silver, the Kapor Center, and Amplitude have all been integral to this journey—just as much as rézme has. Today, we were truly humbled when Spenser Skates, Thomas Neergaard, and the Amplitude team welcomed us at their headquarters and recognized the urgency and impact of our solution to change lives through technology. The support we’ve received from Workday - from Andre Salazar and Heather Swan - has been nothing short of incredible. As an innovation partner, we’re bringing fair chance hiring to the Workday Marketplace in a way that will redefine opportunity at scale. This kind of belief was amplified during our time with the J.P. Morgan team rallying behind us, offering solutions, and advancing our shared mission to transform hiring. Our partnerships continue to be proof of impact at scale: ?? Meeting Ken O. during his time Checkr, Inc. and Robertino San Diego led to our integration into their ecosystem. ?? An introduction to Larry Miller at Stanford GSB set the stage for what’s now the start of JUMP (Justice & Upward Mobility Project), alongside Oliver partners like the Center for Justice & Economic Advancement (JFF) offer a glimpse into the future of fair chance hiring. ?? Stanford incubated our technology in the Stanford Accelerator for Learning, laying the foundation to scale tech for good—an opportunity that eventually led me to Reddit, Inc., where I was supported in breaking into tech. ?? StartX has been a crucial community of founders and technologists who have helped us grow within the ecosystem. ?? Catalyst @ Penn GSE was instrumental in turning our vision into a truly scalable venture—thank you to John Gamba, Rita Ferrandino and the entire team in Philly for believing in our work. A special acknowledgment to Christine L. at Cornell University who led the charge in making them the first institution in the nation to adopt the Restorative Record via Cornell University ILR School—a landmark step for fair chance hiring in higher education. Cornell Tech and the PiTech fellowship enabled us to collaborate with top researchers and technologists to co-build frontier-level AI tools for our next feature release. The expansion into SUNY Office of Higher Education in Prison under the leadership of Darryl Epps Jr. and Rachel Sander, will redefine the fair chance hiring landscape across New York. We’re also excited to measure impact and collaborate. And there’s so much more ahead. We invite everyone who has supported us to continue this journey, from Chrisfino Kenyatta Leal and the Next Chapter team, who pioneered fair chance hiring in tech, to Skye Williamson and the REFORM Alliance, who are leveraging technology to lift millions out of poverty and incarceration. Veni, Vidi, Vici.
