Thanks to Jamie Dickerson Brown of?JDixx Photography?and model Nathan Downes, we had a blast replicating Steve Steigman’s famous photograph for Maxell's 80s "Blown Away" campaign. The original ad began as a two-page spread in Rolling Stone magazine in 1980 and transitioned to TV commercials in 1981. Fun Fact:?The model in Steigman’s original photo, Jac Collelo, was actually the hair and makeup artist. He was used because of his long hair.

Kudos to our friends at Freise Brothers for their great work introducing adidas Golf’s new apparel fabric - TWISTKNIT and TWISTWEAVE. A new pathway to performance. For the shoot, they strung up the studio from floor to ceiling with lines and used clips to pull and stretch Adidas's latest innovation in performance materials. They did this to illustrate how this new fabric is designed to provide a better range of motion while reducing the overall weight and density of the material. They even brought in a golf pro to demonstrate (see our cover graphic). If you like cinematic VFX, you will love Freise Brothers’ work.
