    Traction is the most crucial aspect of your pitch deck. We’ll say it again for the people in the back—traction is the most important section of your deck! Your problem, solution, and competition slides set the stage. But traction is the proof that people are ready to spend their money on what you’re building. Traction is always based on market feedback (not your mom). Sales are an obvious way to prove traction, but there are other indicators as well. Pre-orders, letters of intent, partnerships, beta users, social engagement, survey results—these are all golden signs of traction.

    A sentiment that so many founders can relate to. We push ourselves to be bold, but behind the scenes, we’re often wrestling with self-doubt. Success isn’t just about the wins; it’s about facing the fear, showing up anyway, and daring to go for it, even when the outcome’s uncertain. That’s what separates those who dream from those who achieve.

    The attached quote (modified to apply to me) has long been a reminder to me of what it really means to step up, face challenges, and keep pushing forward—especially when the world (or your inner voice) questions your abilities. There are days when imposter syndrome creeps in, and I question whether I’m capable of achieving what I’ve set out to do. It’s tough when others doubt you, and sometimes I feel the need to prove myself over and over again. What I’ve learned is this: it's not about being perfect; it’s about being present. It’s about showing up and doing the work, even when it feels impossible. It's about dreaming big. It's about daring greatly. Here's to all the ones who try, who stumble, who get back up, and who never stop progressing.
