    Today is the end of my week so technically I can share this now Fun Fact Friday - Thanksgiving Edition! ?? The final question of my 2015 SDR interview was CRAZY CHALLENGING "Ok Frank, you've got your degree in Criminal Justice, you've sold shoes at Vans, and you've taken care of animals at PetSmart; you have ZERO business acumen. Why I should hire you?" The question hit me with that hard reality but also gave me the opportunity to make a case for myself. I'll save you all the details of the long exchange that followed but I was able to move this Sales leader to take a shot on this non-traditional candidate ?? A few years later at a company party this same sales leader pulled me aside and shared his thoughts from that fateful day: "I love finding a candidate with a chip on his shoulder. I knew you would fight for your opportunity. I didn't have any idea where or how you fit in but I knew you would find your way" I'm forever grateful to that person for giving me a shot. He ended up also being the first person to hire me as a RevOps leader a few years later ?? What does this all mean? Why am I even writing this out? ?? I want to remind everyone that it doesn't matter where you come from, what your background is, how fancy the institution is on the degree in your office; I've got 2 rules for "success" (however you choose to define it) Nothing beats HARD WORK ?? and Be a person that others WANT to work WITH ?? It is really that simple Ask questions, be curious, try things, make mistakes & own it, be grateful, and share the rewards with those around you

    Join the #Hubolution | RevOps as a Service ??????

    You don't NEED to integrate HubSpot with your #ERP system to drive revenue and team alignment, but you SHOULD put that ERP integration on your #RevOps roadmap. Storytime: a #medical #manufacturing company came to us to evaluate HubSpot, plus have us build it for their teams, including a custom ERP integration. We provided an integration proposal, but in the end, company leadership saw enough value without the integration to move forward with HubSpot as their #CRM. The biggest issues they faced were: 1) the inability to forecast new deals closing, in order to manage manufacturing capacity 2) lack of visibility into who was responsible for quoting, which went through internal review before being sent to customers. Quoting was done via a paper packet that went through various departments, ultimately documented in a spreadsheet hosted in Office 365. Point is: it was a process problem, that was upstream of their ERP system, which is where orders were recorded after business was Closed Won. During our sales meetings, we mapped out their paper quoting process and recommended a simple way to make it happen in HubSpot. (Thanks Frank Devine Laura álvarez). We solved this by creating Deal Playbooks that create Tickets and move the quote over to an Engineer to build, which in their industry involves CAD drawings, and additional documentation. In the end, they're not even sure they'll remain on their current ERP system... they might move to something better in a year, and THEN it would make sense to re-evaluate the HubSpot<>ERP integration. If they pick a modern ERP, it's likely a native integration already exists with some functionality. For everything else, our Technologist team has them covered. But their sales and marketing teams have moved full steam ahead in HubSpot with RevPartners, and I can't wait to see the impact of that investment!!

    Nearly 2 years ago I decided to take my music seriously, playing with exceptional artists & nearly 50 gigs a year over the last 2 years. On Saturday night, my band with Zion Rodman sold out a venue we could only dream of selling out, The Burren Back Room in Somerville, MA. The typical cap is 150, but they could move every chair/table, even the barstools, to make room for walk-ins, bringing the total to 175 of our best friends. I mean it when I say that without RevPartners strong commitment to work-life balance allowing me to have the space to be a musician, Saturday night wouldn't have been possible. I've been able to do my best work during the day & also go out and do the thing that brings me joy. My time at RP has also taught me a valuable lesson of "We, not ME", meaning it took a unified effort to get this many people in that room. Countless meetings, tiktoks, reels, posters, text campaigns, you name it, we did it. This was the first gig we did where we all had a unified stance and communicated posting times, messaging, and everything together - let me tell ya, it worked. 360 Degree Video (Audio taken from the mixing console and I mixed it in Logic Pro, and edited the video in Insta 360 Studio) The Song is called "The Storm" - Headphone use is recommended.
