Revived Soldiers Ukraine's 2024 Summary ???? This year, through the generosity of our donors, we were able to provide life-saving treatments, advanced prosthetics, and comprehensive rehabilitation for Ukrainian wounded soldiers who have been severely impacted by the war. In 2024 alone RSU provided over $1,000,000 to cover medical, surgical, and prosthetic care for those serving on the front lines. Thanks to our supporters we were able to thank 39 servicemen for their service by giving them the care they needed. Your contributions have made it possible for these brave individuals to regain mobility, independence, and dignity. Our commitment extends beyond medical care. This year alone, we also provided critical support for frontline defenders, ensuring they have the tools necessary to protect Ukraine. RSU provided over $300,000 for rapid response in critical zones facing evacuation, strategic operations in electronic warfare systems, along with uniforms and supplies for battlefield readiness and safety. Looking ahead, our goals include expanding patient capacity, enhancing medical assistance, and strengthening frontline support so we may one day see an end to this attack on our sovereignty. As we reflect on 2024, we are inspired by the resilience of the soldiers we serve and the generosity of our supporters. Your generosity is the foundation of our mission, and we are honored to have you by our side. With deepest gratitude and warm holiday wishes, Revived Soldiers Ukraine ???? #revivedsoldiersukraine #ukraine #standwithukraine

Standing Strong Together: Our Commitment to Support Ukraine Dear supporters of Revived Soldiers Ukraine, In light of the recent 90-day suspension of U.S. foreign aid, Revived Soldiers Ukraine is more determined than ever to continue our vital rehabilitation programs for those who need them the most. During these trying times, Ukraine is deeply dependent on the generosity and compassion of supporters like you. Your support is essential for our charity to sustain its vital operations and deliver critical services to those impacted by the ongoing war. While we remain hopeful that USAID funding will be reinstated in the future, the urgency of the situation calls for your support more than ever. The pause in U.S. foreign assistance has presented significant challenges for many crucial humanitarian initiatives, creating a ripple effect that disrupts the support systems in place for those impacted. For over 60 years, USAID has provided essential medical and food resources to more than 100 countries. As we continue to receive requests from our injured soldiers, we anticipate an escalation in demand for our services, especially as numerous other organizations navigate the repercussions of funding shortages. Our steadfast commitment is to deliver medical treatment and rehabilitation services to our courageous Ukrainian heroes, both in Ukraine and the U.S. Additionally, we are devoted to facilitating the integration of veterans back into society, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support to thrive. With your generous contributions, we can respond to the growing influx of requests and broaden our life-saving initiatives during this crucial period. Together, we can have a profound and lasting impact on the lives of those who have bravely served and sacrificed. Thank you for standing with us. Soldiers who received prosthetics, medical treatment and rehabilitation with Revived Soldiers Ukraine participated in the Andreas Moskin designer collection show at Ukrainian Fashion Week FW25-26! On February 16, Mystetskyi Arsenal hosted an event that changed the way we think about fashion, strength of spirit and indestructibility. During Ukrainian Fashion Week FW25-26, soldiers who had undergone prosthetic treatment and rehabilitation with Revived Soldiers Ukraine participated in the Andreas Moskin show. They showcased not only adaptive clothing but also a new reality where style and functionality merge, allowing individuals to lead fulfilling lives. The collection, inspired by the Ukrainian cultural elite of the 1920s and 1930s known as the Executed Renaissance, symbolizes the revival of a new generation of Ukrainians - those who not only survived but continue to progress forward despite any challenges they face. Our heroes - Vladyslav Zhayvoronok, Maksym Yermokhin, Mykola Levkun, Dmytro Tereshchenko, Oleksandr Chumak, Oleksandr Kungurov, Oleksandr Pivnev, Yan Chemeris, Andriy Nitsak - took to the catwalk in outfits specially created for them. Designers of the Andreas Moskin brand Andrew Moskin and Andreas Bilous adapted these looks for people with prosthetic arms and legs. The designs feature removable jacket sleeves and hidden fasteners on the inner side seams of the pants, allowing for easy dressing and enhancing overall comfort. This year, Ukrainian Fashion Week introduced the Clothing with Function initiative, highlighting adaptive design for both military personnel and civilians who have limb, eye, or hand injuries. This initiative goes beyond fashion; it sets a new standard that empowers individuals to live without limitations. Last year, the Revived Soldiers Ukraine warriors opened the Andreas Moskin show at Ukrainian Fashion Week SS24-25. This year, they are back — stronger, more confident, and even more impressive! This show represents another step towards a society where wounded soldiers are not sidelined, but instead serve as a source of pride, inspiration, and a driving force for change ???? ?? Mykola Viyuk, known as Sergeant “Viyun”, has successfully completed his high bilateral prosthetic treatment with Revived Soldiers Ukraine! 5 months ago, he arrived in the United States with the support of the Pharmaceutical Company Acino to begin the process of complex double bionic prosthetic treatment worth $60,000. We would also like to thank Tetyana Siroochenko and Ruslana Deykun, who organized a Facebook fundraiser and raised $12,165 for Mykola's prosthetics. Revived Soldiers Ukraine fully covered all non-medical expenses, which amounted to $10,360 for five months of his stay in the United States. In Ukraine and Europe, doctors were unable to help the soldier because the amputation was so high. But nothing will stand in the way of the Revived Soldiers Ukraine team! 11 months after his injury, Mykola took his first steps at Prosthetic & Orthotic Associates (POA) in Orlando. “The first step was a moment of real happiness for me,” Mykola says, ”Now I plan to return to Ukraine, hug my family, take my son to kindergarten, and find a job. Thanks to the support of Revived Soldiers Ukraine and Acino, I believe that all these plans will soon become a reality.” Mykola's prosthetic treatment was one of the most difficult, as the serviceman is missing both stumps. At first, Mykola tried walking on training short prostheses, and later, he was fitted with bionic prostheses for the first time. Each bionic leg is equipped with an electronic knee and weighs about 8 kg (17 lb). For 5 months, the Prosthetic & Orthotic Associates (POA) prosthetists worked on improving our hero's prostheses and teaching him to keep his balance, walk properly with and without help. Mykola Viyuk, 41, is a native of the village of Buhayivka, Rivne region. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he has served in the 25th Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In February 2023, during fierce fighting near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region, Mykola sustained a severe mine-blast wound that resulted in the high amputation of both legs. While saving his comrades, he managed to capture 10 occupants, but was hit by a 120-caliber mine himself. The explosion damaged both legs, and the warrior applied a tourniquet to one leg on his own, a combat medic helped him with the other side. The evacuation of Mykola lasted five hours; his comrade carried him on his shoulders under continuous enemy fire. But despite the lost “golden hour” to save his limbs, Mykola survived and did not surrender! His friend Andriy Chobit wrote a book about Mykola Viyuk's life and military adventures titled “Sergeant Viyun.” In this novel, the author recounts actual events, including this particularly significant day. The book has become a popular item at our charity auctions. Mykola successfully raised $27,000 — the equivalent cost of a prosthetic leg for a seriously injured Ukrainian serviceman. ???? ??????

We are expanding for our Defenders! We are excited to announce that Revived Soldiers Ukraine is expanding its efforts to support Ukraine's severely wounded soldiers. Our center in Irpin is being enhanced with a new rehabilitation area and state-of-the-art high-tech equipment to aid the recovery of our heroes. Today, NextStep Ukraine stands as one of the top neurotrauma rehabilitation centers in Ukraine. Through the nonprofit’s dedication, rehabilitation after severe injuries in our country has reached a global standard. Following the opening of a second center in Lviv last year, we are now elevating our first center in Irpin, which was established in 2018, to the same level of excellence. With the support of our longstanding donors, we have recently added an additional large area to our facility and have already commenced renovation work. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ostap Korkuna, Daria Korkuna, Inna and Yuri Deychakiskiy, Vitaliy Kytnyy, Selfreliance Federal Credit Union, Motria Melnyk, Taras Drozd, and The Heritage Foundation for their unwavering belief in our mission and in an unbreakable Irpin. We are pleased to announce that a unique interactive track, the C Mill VR+ 300 from Hacoma in the Netherlands, has arrived in Irpin by special order this Saturday. This is the second device of its kind in Ukraine in terms of its functionality. We funded the purchase of this device for $131,000, with $100,000 generously provided by SoftServe. We are actively seeking sponsors for the procurement of rehabilitation equipment as we continue to support severely wounded Ukrainian servicemen and veterans entirely free of charge. Each day, 45 soldiers receive the necessary and highly important world-class rehabilitation in Ukraine at our NextStep Ukraine rehabilitation centers. We would like to remind everyone that the monthly operating cost of our two rehabilitation centers amounts to $34,000. Every contribution is valuable! We invite you to join us in supporting our heroes through the official website of Revived Soldiers Ukraine: ???? www.rsukraine.org ???? www.rsukraine.org.ua
