What's happening in Oil and Gas... SPOTLIGHT! ? Last Friday, Flipping The Barrel hosted their Annual Representation Matters Luncheon at #LakesideCountryClub where approximately 400 industry peers sat in attendance. Thoughtful topics covered were: *A sweet Mother-Daughter Duo sharing personal experiences and insight into raising children while serving as Corporate Executives. Truly enjoyed hearing the perspectives of the Daughters on how Mom influenced their journey as they grew into successful adults. *An admirable session of Executive Men discussing how to be Champions for Change within your own organizations. Many good laughs were shared here while listening to humbling stories of conversations between male and female co-workers. *And a closing panel with a diverse group of Executive Women discussing their unique challenges faced in their roles and how they were able to overcome them. A special appreciation for including a fellow, single Mom on this panel. Listening to her take on making bold moves in her career while being a full-time Mom was inspiring. A special THANK YOU to Lorena Galindez at Intelligent Wellhead Systems for hosting the table. And, of course, for making introductions to other wonderful, amazing women in the #oilandgasindustry.
