Because outbound email—our bread and butter—doesn’t connect like it used to. AI, channel fatigue, and changing markets have forced us to rethink everything.     This year at RevBoss, we tested a low-touch service model to see if we could deliver results with minimal hands-on involvement. The goal: onboard clients, keep things running in the background, and step in only when necessary. ?? The results? We sold a lot of subscriptions, but the client experience wasn’t always where we wanted it to be. Here’s the key takeaway: You can’t automate relationships. Clients don’t just want results—they need context, connection, and ongoing communication. When you leave a gap, they fill it with their own assumptions. And even when things are going well, they might not realize it. ?? The Fix? We’re getting back to our roots: regular touchpoints and proactive conversations. It’s simple, but it works. That means thinking beyond industry verticals and? looking for the people who are ready to engage with the stories and content we share. In most cases, it's all about experimentation. When we have a new customer story to tell, we don’t just settle for surface-level outreach. We dig deeper. Who are the people interested in similar stories or content? Who attended the same events as our customers? We want the right audience, not just any audience. And you know what? That kind of flexibility and willingness to experiment is what makes us stand out.
