It was a great opportunity to connect with ISO staff and stakeholders to discuss the importance of a strong energy market and #transmission in a state leading the way in the #energytransition. This amazing organization serves 400,000 people each month, and we are happy to have the opportunity to give back to the community where our Diablo Energy Storage facility and Walnut Creek office are located. ? REV was honored to be a platinum sponsor of the 28th Annual WMHS Foundation Golf Classic in support of UPMC Western Maryland. The event raised over $225,000 to benefit patients of the Schwab Family Cancer Center. These funds, including REV's $15,000 donation, will allow the center to purchase new radiation technologies to combat breast cancer and provide vital services to their cancer patients. ? REV was pleased to partner with Vanguard Energy Partners LLC (VEP) for this presentation at Mountain Ridge High School. In addition to the training on our Jade Meadow solar facility, Hunter J. Maret (Project Manager at REV) and the team at VEP answered questions on all things #solarpower from the school's AP Environmental Science class & Green Team. It was great to connect with the next generation of clean energy leaders and give perspective on our growing industry, where countless new #solarjobs are being added each month for High School Seniors to choose from to grow into a career. ? We are also excited to announce our donation of a solar module to the school for teaching purposes. We hope the students enjoyed the presentation and we look forward to future opportunities to engage with the local community in Western Maryland!
Vanguard Energy Partners was honored to be invited to speak at Mountain Ridge High School in Frostburg, Maryland! We were thrilled to be accompanied by REV Renewables, who developed and owns the Jade Meadow solar farm just down the road from the school.
