2 days left to vote for us to win The Webby Awards People’s Voice Nomination for 'Black Men Love' by Shea Moisture Men. I’m so grateful for everyone who has voted already — we saw huge gains over the weekend, jumping an entire ranking and approximately 13%. Why does this all matter? ?? We-at-large have the opportunity to validate the creative work we've BEEN doing but has often been overlooked by systemic industry awards culture. ???? As a young and small company, this type of recognition further adds "credibility" and helps us better compete for meaningful work against the larger creative companies.? ?? Winning the category of Corporate Social Responsibility showcases a successful investment in the visibility and well-being of under- and mis- represented groups of people, especially in today’s divisive sociopolitical climate. ?? It’s deeper than commercial advertising - we put medicine in the candy and drew from lived experiences only we could tap to center a more nuanced and authentic humanization of Black men.
