RETI Center’s mission is to educate, train, and collaborate with local youth and community members in transforming New York City’s coastal communities from a fossil-fuel-driven industrial base to a sustainable model balancing equity, ecology, and economy. We believe that experiential learning, combined with innovative and practical solutions, empowers communities to adapt to and thrive amidst climate challenges. Founded in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, RETI Center focuses on renewable energy training, marine-based ecological restoration, and creating resilience solutions for waterfront communities.
