For over 50 years, the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI) has recognized innovative reinforced concrete structures across the United States, Canada, and Mexico through its Design and Construction Awards. This prestigious program continually raises the bar in the industry. CRSI HONORS submittals are reviewed specifically on the ways in which reinforced concrete has been utilized to improve the structure’s value, sustainability, appearance and durability. Consideration is also given to design and/or construction approaches that leverage steel reinforced concrete in an innovative manner or to an exceptional degree, and on the basis of the extent to which ultimate outcome objectives were achieved. It’s a bittersweet moment at Resurget Engineering where we have the honor to wish Myriam Bobe, great success as she pursues her Master’s in Structural Engineering at the University of Toronto. Myriam has been an integral part of Resurget Engineering for 5 years, as one of our first few employees. She has been an outstanding engineer and consistently goes above and beyond while bringing cheerful energy to any team she’s on. You have likely seen her swinging off the sides of buildings or flying her drone in Downtown Detroit helping inspect all the historic facades or donning her hard hat and vest to watch one of her numerous designs come to life. Let’s all wish her the best as she embarks on this new chapter in her life.

Bringing over 25 years of experience, Kevin will be utilizing his expertise in structural restoration to expand our existing building expertise and allow us to provide clients with an extremely well-rounded team. Recently a handful of our engineers volunteered their time to assist the Open Hands Food Pantry. This past Saturday morning Taylar, Myriam, Alec and Pierce assisted in distribution of donated food goods ranging from toiletries and canned goods to fresh vegetables. Open Hands was incredibly kind, well-organized, and made the experience enjoyable. We are excited to return soon!
