Meet Shayleen, an X-ray Tech with Resurgens since December 2021. She started as a Student Tech in May 2021 and quickly advanced to a Registered Tech. After her father's cancer diagnosis, she was inspired to enter the medical field and provide compassionate care to patients. Before pursuing X-ray technology, Shayleen worked as a restaurant manager but always aspired to work in healthcare. She appreciates the work-life balance Resurgens offers—with no weekends or holidays—allowing her more time with her daughter and family. A longtime Atlanta resident, Shayleen had always heard about Resurgens' excellent reputation and was immediately impressed by how welcoming everyone was. She rotates through four offices, connecting with diverse patients and colleagues. Her outgoing personality thrives on these daily interactions. Outside work, Shayleen enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, and kayaking, activities that honor her Klamath-Modoc heritage and passion for the outdoors. Her advice for prospective Resurgens employees?
