As Someone who's worked DoD, Amazon, and in the AI space you've gotta get creative, but also not let "no" scare you. You really have to embrace the grind, and to a point thrive in it. Job Hunting isn't a natural skill, it's not something we're inherently good at. Selling ourselves is a learned skill, especially if you have imposter syndrome. So, I work at it every day.
