I've been traveling around the country working with schools and organizations on design and redesign efforts, and in conversation with Grace Cruz today, we were talking about how AI is nearly always part of our work as facilitators and coaches. Why? Well, turns out that AI doesn't have cortisol. When cortisol kicks in, our thinking gets murky, decisions get harder, and clarity slips away. AI doesn't experience stress (not yet, at least). It doesn't get overwhelmed by emotions or feel the pressure that often impacts our ability to think clearly. It provides insights, processes information, and helps us see potential patterns when our own minds are too tangled to do so. Sometimes, maybe the best way to create new options, new ideas, and new strategies is to have a co-intelligence that doesn't react like a human. . . #ai #aieducation #cointeligence Ethan Mollick
