When planning a project, we always make sure that potential hazards (like power lines) are identified early so we can keep everyone safe. The safety of our workers is always top of mind. After all, without them, the job doesn't get done. Safety should ALWAYS be a priority. #ConstructionSafety

During a recent inspection, we noticed a few key concerns: ? ?????????????? ?????????? – The existing sealants show a “snakeskin” texture, a sign of deterioration. We also observed two different sealant types applied (silicone over urethane), which can lead to adhesion issues. ? ???????????? ???????????????? – The lintel lacks proper flashing and a drip edge, increasing the risk of trapped moisture and premature deterioration. ? ??????????-?????????????? ?????????? – The steel was not sealed above, making it likely to trap water. This has already led to visible rust formation, but the full extent of the rust is unknown until the vinyl is removed. ? ???????????? ???????????????? – Minor pinhole cracks in the Rowlock windowsill. While not urgent, these should be monitored for potential water infiltration. Have you noticed similar issues on your building? #MasonryRestoration #BuildingMaintenance #Construction #PropertyManagement #FacilityManagement

Water is one of masonry’s biggest enemies ?? When drainage fails, moisture gets in and causes cracks, spalling, efflorescence, mold, and mortar erosion. Signs your masonry might have drainage issues: ?? White, powdery stains on the surface ?? Crumbling mortar joints ?? Pooling water near the foundation ?? Damp walls or mold growth Small steps like maintaining gutters, improving grading, and installing weep holes can make a big difference.
