Innovation isn’t exclusive—but recognition often is. Black inventors and researchers have contributed profoundly to medical advancements, yet their work is frequently overlooked or undervalued. Even today, racial disparities persist in patent approvals, blocking equitable progress in healthcare innovation. How do we ensure fair credit and inclusion in medical research? Share your thoughts or examples of overlooked contributions in the comments. Let’s spotlight the stories that deserve recognition and push for change.
