You can now turn off comments on your Meta ads. But should you? Seems like a win, right? Less toxicity, more control. But is it? When we mute our audience, we lose important things—valuable feedback, insight, and the organic growth that comes from interaction. Comments offer us an unfiltered look at how our message lands. That’s gold for marketers. Turning comments off is a blunt-force instrument that marketers don't need to turn to. Moderation gives brands the safety they need so they can remove abuse, hate, toxicity, and spam to make room for engaging with their audience. The future belongs to brands that engage, not retreat. ?? Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eg2gdvuw

Marketers, we know the drill: Create social media content, drive engagement, celebrate engagement metrics… and move on, hoping the engagement turns into something more. But what if your next big opportunity is already there—hidden in your comments? That’s where Marketing Qualified Comments (MQC) come in: comments that show genuine intent, interest, or influence. These aren’t just casual remarks—they’re signals from your audience that say, “I’m interested, tell me more!” Why MQCs matter: 1. They help you focus your time and energy on what drives business outcomes 2. They turn social media interactions into actionable insights and qualified leads 3. They cut through the noise of vanity metrics and help you prove the ROI of your social campaigns You don’t have to sort through hundreds of comments manually either. Platforms like ours make identifying MQCs a breeze—saving you time and helping you capture leads that others miss. Ready to start turning comments into customers? Check out our latest article to learn how. ?? https://hubs.la/Q02RHh780 #MarketingQualifiedComments #MQCs #LeadGen #SocialMediaMarketing #MarketingTools

Social media management tools are great for posting. But what happens after? The real value is in the comments—the insights, the trends, the feedback. That’s where your Comment Activation Platform (CAP) steps in. While your SMM tool focuses on getting content out, CAP focuses on what comes back. It’s the missing link between posting and truly engaging. Posting is just the start. What are you doing with the response? https://lnkd.in/gFXcG_Ng

What if your next big lead isn’t in your DMs or inbox, but is sitting in your social media comments? We’re all chasing likes, shares, and those elusive breakthrough campaigns. But what if we’ve been missing the real opportunities? To capitalize on these leads hiding in plain sight, we’ve created a highly valuable social media metric: Marketing Qualified Comment (MQC)—your next best lead, tucked away in your comment section, just waiting to be found. Imagine this: Someone asks about pricing, availability, or how to buy your product…right there in a comment. That’s not just engagement—it’s intent. And those are the conversations that actually matter. The problem? We’re so busy tracking vanity metrics that we overlook these golden opportunities. But what if we could spot them instantly? It’s time to stop treating every comment equally and start focusing on the ones that could drive business outcomes. In our latest article, we break down how MQCs can change the game for marketers by: - Identifying the high-value comments that show clear interest - Gathering real-time customer insights from your audience - Shifting your focus from likes to leads with actionable comments Check out our newest article to learn how you can start uncovering MQCs and turn your comments into conversions. ?? https://lnkd.in/gh-rWVqY #MarketingQualifiedComments #SocialMediaStrategy #LeadGeneration #CommentsThatConvert #MarketingTips

We made the team! CU Men’s Basketball has renewed its partnership with us to protect players and fans from hate and abuse on social media. During the 2023-24 season, over 15,000 comments were made on social accounts connected to the men’s basketball team. We hid over 4,000 (nearly 27%) for reasons including but not limited to spam, severe swearing, racist remarks, political references, and sexual references. CU’s men’s basketball team counts itself as the first collegiate program to partner with us to support upholding their WHOLE student-athlete mission - a focus on Wellness, Health, and Optimal Life Experience. And we’re honored to be a part of this mission. Coach Boyle says it best: “They [Respondology] deliver exactly what was needed to make social media safe for our players and fans.” Sko Buffs!
