RHA’s Lung Cancer funding opportunity is now open for the 2025 grant cycle! The award will support investigators interested in conducting innovative research studies in lung cancer. RHA’s goal is to support pilot and feasibility studies to generate data for federally funded projects in the future. Applications are due March 1, 2025. We’re thrilled to introduce our new Manager of Advocacy and Policy, McKenna Mason! A graduate of Drury University in Missouri, McKenna brings valuable experience from her recent role as Campaign Manager for the two largest State House races in Missouri during their successful fall 2024 campaigns. With McKenna, we plan to expand and strengthen our advocate program throughout the state, to continue to push for our mission of healthy lungs and clean air for all.

Ready to help others quit smoking? Our virtual two-day Courage to Quit? Leader Training will equip you with the skills, resources, and support needed to deliver effective adult smoking cessation programs. This is a two-day training, offered virtually through Zoom, will cover the same content as the in-person Courage to Quit leader training. You must attend both days to complete the training. Training materials and continuing education credits are included in the cost of the training ($125). Registration closes Monday, March 3rd at 5:00pm CST.
