The story of Resolve Surgical Technologies begins in 1992, when we entered into the industry as Pioneer Surgical Technology, Inc. Shortly thereafter, In 1993, Pioneer launched its first full system of instruments and implants for a major orthopedic OEM partner. This system, along with many other systems that Pioneer had launched, are still regarded as best in class by surgeons and partners. Throughout the years, Pioneer had established itself as a major innovator across the orthopedic community. Then, in 2013, RTI Biologics acquired Pioneer Surgical Technology, Inc. to create RTI Surgical. Both companies saw great success as they worked together to expand both Tissue & Biologics and Metals platforms. In 2020, Montagu Private Equity LLP acquired RTI Surgical’s OEM business. In 2022, due to rapid growth and high industry demand of both divisions, the RTI Surgical Metals division spun off to become Resolve Surgical Technologies.

Through hands-on projects and community initiatives, we have the opportunity to make a real difference outside of the plant and offices. In October, Resolve Surgical Technologies employees went to Bay Cliff Health Camp for our one of our annual Employee Volunteer Days! We spent the day getting their grounds ready for the coming winter.????? Our employees also had the opportunity?to learn more about the efforts and mission of Bay Cliff Health Camp's Executive Director, Clare Lutgen, EdD who came to Resolve for a presentation. Last week James Vermeulen amd Timothy Kolesar participated in the Future Leader Forum at Montagu’s London headquarters along with our CEO Megan Dean Osorio who shared her leadership journey with future leaders from across Montagu’s portfolio companies. #leadership #peopledevelopment
On Friday last week we hosted our 4th annual Future Leader’s Forum. At Montagu, we are passionate about creating a culture where people can thrive and achieve their full potential. The Future Leaders’ Forum (FLF) was conceived to inspire and develop those who have been identified as high potential talent within our portfolio companies. We welcomed over 50 attendees representing 23 Montagu portfolio companies. ? Guillaume Jabalot opened the forum with the essential pillars of leadership. We then heard from 3 of our portfolio CEOs, Francesca McDonagh, Universal-Investment, Fran?ois Fournier, HTL Biotechnology and Megan Dean Osorio, Resolve Surgical Technologies on their leadership journeys, sharing insights and advice on what they have learned along the way. In addition to the above, Diana Theodores, PhD provided an insightful session on leadership presence and how to perform as YOU, followed by a session on understanding different personality types and how to work more effectively to build high performing teams with Timothy Cochrane, Montagu and an introduction to private equity with Daniel Morgan, Montagu. We finished the forum with a fireside chat with Gehan Talwatte, Chairman, Lloyd's List Intelligence and Lisa Telford, Montagu learning about Gehan’s career, both as a CEO and Chairman in PE-backed companies, followed by a lively and informative Q&A session.
