Workshop Recap: Building Climate Resilience in Woods Hole We recently hosted a multi-session workshop with the Town of Falmouth Select Board, public safety leaders, and community members to advance climate resilience planning. Session 1: Climate Vulnerability & Adaptation MBL COO Paul Speer presented RWH's four-phase approach to climate adaptation, sharing key reports and assessments. Session 2: Community Vision We discussed our community-driven vision for a resilient future, focusing on flood mitigation, infrastructure resilience, collective decision-making, and homeowner resources. Session 3: Priority Actions & Strategies We explored successful climate initiatives from across the country and worked collaboratively on solutions for Woods Hole’s key areas—Mill Pond/Eel Pond, the Waterfront, and the broader community. Action steps include feasibility studies, floodproofing, emergency planning, and securing funding. A full report of the event will be available in a few weeks. Thank you to everyone who participated.
