In March, we celebrate National Social Work Month. ?? Social workers are critical to creating resilient communities by providing essential care and support to individuals and families. Their work requires compassion resilience—the ability to stay mentally, emotionally, and physically well while supporting others in need. We recognize and appreciate their dedication to building a stronger, more connected community. We kicked off March by hosting a #CompassionResilience workshop, in partnership with Bethlehem Area Public Library, where participants gained practical tools to support their well-being, build self-compassion and create self-care plans tailored to their needs. Serving as a caregiver—whether personally or professionally—comes with unique challenges. By understanding the drivers of fatigue and resilience, we can better support ourselves and others. Thank you to those who attended and engaged in this important conversation ?? #ResilientLV United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley
