Today we met with the many partners involved with the Oxbow Project in Holderness, Plymouth, and Ashland, NH. It was the conclusion of the Stewardship Plan process that our firm assisted with, and served as a kickoff to the real collaboration ahead. It was wonderful to see the town representatives, land owners, wildlife advocates, and recreational and agricultural interests working together and excited about the future stewardship of this project. If you are in the area in the future add this conservation area to your list of places to visit. It includes a stunning network of habitats and existing trails.

We work to promote regenerative development, sustainable land use patterns, and community and land stewardship through site design, comprehensive planning, and regulatory initiatives. Resilience Planning & Design is a New Hampshire based firm specializing in community planning and ecological design. Our goal is to assist communities and individuals as they work toward their identified visions while helping them become more resilient. The work we do is for clients of all scales, from towns and cities, to non-profit organizations, to businesses, to individual property owners. We build collaborative teams with diverse professionals including architects, landscape architects, and GIS technicians, and others to ensure all the needs of a project are met. In every project, we seek to address the specific needs and qualities of that particular community, group, or individual, understanding the nuanced differences that exist between places and people. We see significant value in assisting communities in the protection and leverage of their unique assets and resources and equipping them with appropriate strategies for future planning.

The Rye, NH Master Plan is headed to a public hearing on March 18th. We are all really excited to see the status of this Plan and the priorities identified by the community.
