  • My Level of Excitement Speaking at EO Philly’s Inaugural Event is Showing! ? It was truly an honor to be part of the Rise & Thrive Women's Summit, hosted by the Entrepreneurs Organization of Philadelphia at Bala Consulting Engineers, and to share the stage with the remarkable Casey Brown, Sally Lou Loveman, and Nicole Lewis-Keeber MSW LCSW. I’m deeply grateful for the insightful conversations and connections made at this inaugural event, which brought together a powerhouse group of women entrepreneurs, leaders, and professionals. It was a privilege to be in a room filled with such talent and ambition! And a special thank you to Marikate Venuto for capturing this moment and for beautifully documenting this incredible event through her lens. For any leaders, entrepreneurs, or organizations looking for a keynote speaker for upcoming events, I’d love to connect! My schedule is filling up quickly, so be sure to reach out in time to explore opportunities! #drtarynmarie #RiseAndThriveSummit #keynotespeaking

  • GUESS WHAT WE'RE UP TO NEXT? ?? One of the things I come across regularly when working with companies, leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals is that we all have a tendency to avoid challenges and change, both personally and professionally. We try to plan around them, minimize them, or engineer them out of our lives. But the reality is that life's three big C's – change, challenge, and complexity – are inevitable, and how we respond to them makes all the difference. Over the years, I've seen how disruption, whether in business, leadership, or life, can leave people feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or even defeated. But I've also seen something else – the most successful and fulfilled individuals don't just "bounce back" from challenges, they bounce forward and grow because of them. What I discovered in two decades of research is that it's not just luck. It's a skill set that ANYONE can develop. ?? That's why I'm excited about a NEW project my team and I have been working on that will help leaders, coaches, entrepreneurs, and individuals: ?? Develop emotional intelligence to boost resilience ?? Identify personal resilience strengths and areas for growth ?? Apply resilience skills in daily life ?? Build their unique resilience blueprint We can't reveal everything just yet, but I can tell you that this will equip you with everything you'll ever need to navigate disruption and uncertainty – and grow along the way! Any guesses on what it might be? ?? #drtarynmarie #resilience #howtoberesilient

  • The questions you ask yourself as a leader, coach, or entrepreneur can either reinforce dependency or build resilience. When you start focusing on and shaping your questions around creating the greatest impact, everything changes! The way you reflect on your leadership shapes how you show up, make decisions, and inspire others. Often, the difference is in the wording! Small shifts in language can lead to stronger, more resilient leadership. It's important to keep in mind that leadership has the greatest potential to strengthen organizational resilience. That’s why many organizations now view resilience as a core leadership competency, assessing it in high-potential leaders who are on track for promotions and expanded roles. That’s why it’s essential to focus on both: leveraging your resilience story to create the greatest impact and refining the questions you ask (yourself and others) to support that growth. So, what changes or shifts can you start making today in the questions you ask to develop a more resilient leadership style? Let me know in the comments below! ?? And for those looking to elevate their leadership style, my team and I work closely with companies to shape talent strategies and succession plans, focusing on assessing and strengthening leaders' resilience, so be sure to reach out! #drtarynmarie #resilience #leadership

  • Women's contributions have shaped history, yet too often, their names have been left out of the story. For centuries, women's discoveries, inventions, and ideas were overlooked, credited to male colleagues, or dismissed altogether. Limited access to resources and societal restrictions meant that many never received the recognition or rewards they deserved, and history itself was often rewritten to diminish or even completely erase women's influence to fit a narrative. While progress has been made, it has still not erased the biases that influence how women are perceived and valued, especially in the workplace. The standards for success still differ between men and women, creating barriers that go beyond skill or ambition. Challenging these systemic inequities is essential, but so is recognizing the power we as women hold within ourselves to reshape the narrative. By stepping into our strength, owning our voices, and rewriting the rules, we redefine what leadership looks like. While addressing the systemic elements of our society and workplaces that create confusion and perpetuate inequity, we can also focus on embracing our authentic feminine talents as leaders in the workplace. We can enhance our resilience as women by buying into our own enough-ness and cultivating our ability to be self-full, confident, supportive of one another's "shining". I explore this in more detail in my book, The 5 Practices of Highly Resilient People, so if you haven’t had a chance to read it yet, be sure to order your copy by following the link in the comments! video credit: @robertedwardgrant (IG) #drtarynmarie #women #womeninleadership

  • I’m honored to be featured in Investor's Business Daily's recent article alongside the brilliant Deborah Gilboa, MD, and Jeremy Woodward, discussing resilience. In the article, the resilient practice of productive perseverance from my book The 5 Practices of Highly Resilient People is highlighted as a key tool for navigating adversity: ????’?? ?????????? ?????????????? ???????? ???? ???????? ?????? ???????????? ???? ?????? ???????? ???? ???????????????????? ?????? ???????? ?????????????????????? ???????? ????'?? ???????? ???? ?????????? ???????? ?????? ?????????????? ?????????? ???? ????????????????. The article delves into why highly resilient people aren’t necessarily stronger, but they approach challenges in a different way. If you're curious about the practices and strategies that help individuals tap into their resilience and how they can empower you to face any challenge, change, or complexity with a smarter approach, be sure to give it a read (link in the comments)! #drtarynmarie #resilience #InvestorsBusinessDaily

  • RESILIENCE MANTRA: RESILIENCE AND SELF-AWARENESS GO HAND-IN-HAND You can't build resilience without understanding yourself fully and embracing all parts of yourself, including the ones that make you feel vulnerable. True resilience isn't about ignoring pain or pushing through at all costs. It's about recognizing what you need, honoring your emotions, and responding with intention rather than reaction. And while we are all born resilient, strengthening our resilience muscle requires making self-awareness a priority. How do we do that? By being present and taking the time to check in with ourselves regularly. It's about honoring your emotions instead of ignoring pain or pushing through at all costs. It's about recognizing what you need, and giving yourself the space to grow through what you go through. So today, I want you to take a moment to check in with yourself, to pause, breathe, and reflect on what's happening within. What do you truly need? What are you avoiding? Where can you lean in instead of numbing out? Let this post be a reminder to prioritize self-awareness. Because the more you connect with yourself, the more you'll be able to tap into your own resilience and (re)discover the beautifully vulnerable and authentic version of who you truly are. ?? #drtarynmarie #resilience #resiliencemantra

  • Societal and cultural expectations of men and women are very different, and this disparity becomes amplified in the workplace. Likewise, the questions men and women are asked also differ. When women are too nice or friendly, they are not seen as leaders, yet when they are accomplished, the prescriptive bias holds them back, casting a shadow on their likeability. The prescriptive bias is a form of unconscious bias, held by both men and women, making it even more insidious because it is not an active, calculated judgment or intentional discrimination. So, how can we change the conversation in our workplaces - elevating the value placed on authentic feminine qualities? While we can't ignore societal context or systemic inequities, it is our responsibility as women not to be limited by them and to never allow anyone to question our right to freely articulate everything we do, think, and stand for. This isn’t just a conversation for March 8th, it’s one we should continue all year long, reminding ourselves and others that the way we carry ourselves sets the tone for how our femininity is viewed, acknowledged, and respected, not just for ourselves, but for the generations of women yet to come. I wrote about this in more detail in my first book, The 5 Practices of Highly Resilient People, so be sure to give it a read (link in the comments)! video credit: @aggie (IG) #drtarynmarie #resilientwomen #womeninleadership

  • RESILIENCE MANTRA: RESILIENCE ISN'T WHAT YOU ENDURE BUT WHAT YOU EXTRACT FROM ENDURING No matter how much we try to deny it or hope to bounce back as soon as possible, wishing for things to be the way they were before, each challenge faced, battle won, or adversity endured leaves its mark. Our resilience stories change us. But at the end of the day, you are NOT what happens to you. You are not defined by your mistakes, and you are not defined by your successes. You are defined by how you rise to meet each moment, with resilience, vulnerability, hope, and courage. And while the things that have happened to you are not your fault, healing is your responsibility. At the end of the day, challenge is simply a well-disguised opportunity for growth, and the only way to bounce forward (not back!) is to learn to go through and grow through the experiences, not around or above them. So today, I want to remind you to allow yourself to show up as the vulnerable, most authentic version of yourself, day in and day out, so you can finally tap into your own resilience and emerge from adversity enhanced rather than diminished, with more humility, openness, empathy, wisdom, and joy. #drtarynmarie #resilience #resiliencemantra

  • THE STRONGEST PERSONAL BRANDS AREN'T BUILT ON PERFECTION. THEY'RE BUILT ON RESILIENCE. When I work with executives on developing their brand, my first question is never, "What are your greatest achievements?" but rather: "What challenges have you overcome, and how have they shaped your leadership?" Because here's what I've learned after working with leaders across industries: ?? People don't connect with your highlight reel. They connect with your unpolished story of overcoming doubts and challenges. ?? People don't connect with perfection. They connect with vulnerability and authenticity. ?? People don't connect with businesses. They connect with the people, story, and vision behind a business that resonates with them on a deeper level. Remember, your story is your greatest strength, something that is impossible to replicate. That's why I'm excited about my new Mastermind.com Original Course, Your Story is Your Strength, created with Dean Graziosi and Tony Robbins, which teaches you how to turn your personal experiences and challenges into powerful tools for connection and influence. If you're a leader, entrepreneur, or coach who isn't sure how to incorporate your challenges into your leadership story, this is a course you don't want to miss (you can find the link in the comments below)! I'm truly excited to guide you in transforming your most authentic story into a powerful advantage, one that not only strengthens your business but also deepens your impact and connection with the people who need to hear it most! #drtarynmarie #masterminddotcom #onlinecourse
