???Pro Tip ?? Two marketing practices can hurt deliverability for transactional emails… Marketing emails often include: 1. Link tracking 2. Open tracking Both can be great for marketing emails but not for transactional emails. It can actually hurt your deliverability. Open tracking embeds a 1x1 pixel image in the email, and link tracking rewrites the links in the email to point to Resend’s servers first. Both types can be seen as suspicious and hurt your deliverability. As an example, @supabase has noted that link tracking is?known for corrupting verification links, making them unusable for your users. On Resend, you can disable link and open tracking in the Domains tab. If you send both transactional and marketing emails with Resend, consider using separate domains for each, optimizing for each type of email.

We're shipping something new that will help teams manage domains programmatically. Some products allow their end-users to configure emails using custom domains. This feature is essential for deliverability, white-labeling, and branding purposes. But there was a problem... Previously, you had to manually check the dashboard to see if a domain was verified. Or you had to implement a pulling mechanism using the API to get this information. Now, you can receive real-time notifications when domains are created, updated, or deleted. ? It’s the little things ? When Danilo Woznica joined the team, he noticed a minor UI issue in our famous sidebar icons. It used to: ? Drop frames if the mouse left the animation early ? Only play the animation if you leave the mouse hovering ? Trigger the animation accidentally So we improved the behavior to: ? Once the animation starts, it never stops ? Only trigger animation when the animation frame is at the start or 90% of the animation has finished ? Use debounce to delay accidental mouseovers Most people probably won't notice the difference, but this illustrates the level of attention to detail we put into the product. ?
