It's hitting me because it feels quite aligned to the Reframe to Create message which I ask individuals to apply to themselves. The idea is that what you uniquely create and offer to the world is what matters as your real work. I love how this quote also shows how it applies to organizations. To me, an organization or a business is meant to always see itself as being in service to people and a community...not the other way around. And the best way you can be in service is through the unique things or experiences you create. And of course, it goes beyond what you create but how you do it and how you leave people feeling when you go about doing what you're doing. This applies to people, organizations, and even nations.
