Meet Claire! Claire came to Scottish Rite at 6-years-old when she was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. Throughout her treatment, the care she received from doctors, nurses and child life specialists left a lasting impression. Inspired by their compassion, Claire decided to pursue a career in healthcare. Now in her second year of a Child Life Master’s program, Claire is gearing up for a clinical internship during her final semester. “I truly don’t know where I would be without the amazing nurses and child life specialists who helped me through my journey. I hope to have that same impact on the patients and families I work with,” said Claire. We’re cheering you on every step of the way, Claire! ??
