AI is great...but it's also creating crisis in the public relations world. NewsGuard?recently identified over 1,000 AI-generated news sites, with many peddling false claims. These sites, such as “iBusiness Day” and “Daily Time Update,” publish articles that are largely or entirely written by AI, often disseminating fabricated events and misleading information about political leaders. The implications for public trust are profound, as these AI-driven deceptions erode the credibility of legitimate news sources.

On October 17, 2024, RepUs’s President and Chief Reputation Officer Casey Boggs presented to the?National Customer Service Association members the “10 Actions to Build a Positive Reputation Through Customer Service.” During the presentation, Boggs asked the participants to score themselves on each action (1-3…3 being the highest).
