Mentorship is one of my favorite ways to invest my time and I’m excited to share this opportunity to mentor an Underground Scholar through our Emerging Professionals Program (EPP) in partnership with RepresentEd! This program is designed to empower formerly incarcerated and system-impacted students as they transition from academia into thriving careers. We’re looking for experienced professionals who are willing to share their insights, provide guidance, and help these emerging leaders navigate their professional paths. As a mentor, you’ll: ? Meet with your mentee once a month (March–May 2025) ? Share your career experiences and advice ? Help bridge the gap between academia and professional success ? As we approach the final stretch of fall programming, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the remarkable summer we’ve had at RepresentEd. This season was brimming with growth, connection, and transformation—and we’re so grateful to have shared it with our incredible community. From immersive workshops and mentorship to our unforgettable Homecoming Gala, summer was a time of empowerment. A highlight was the RepresentEd Symposium, where participants from the Emerging Professionals Program, KP Launch, Color by Design, and Career Exploration Experience showcased their innovative solutions, professional development, and impactful mentorship. Our Homecoming Gala was another standout, celebrating resilience and achievements in an evening filled with joy, reflection, and connection. We honored our talented alumni and students, reaffirming the power of creating spaces where everyone feels represented and uplifted. As we continue through the rest of this year, we’re carrying this momentum into new programs, partnerships, and initiatives that align with our commitment to equity and opportunity.
