We had an amazing time at Western Kentucky University helping technologists set up their #LinkedIn profiles! We remembered to get a picture after many had left, but glad we got a group shot. Shout out to Kahlil Garmon ?? Krista Loid (CSPO) and Richard Schugart for the hospitality. We learned so much and cannot wait to be back!

Meet our Director of Sponsorship Dr. Teresa "Dr. T" Vasquez ?? Dr. T is the Co-Founder and CEO of Repped in Tech, a neurodiverse-first community focused on helping diverse technologists build their reputation, influence, and tech skills. She also serves as the Lead Instructor at Nashville Software School. "WiTT stands out because of its unwavering commitment to uplifting women in technology and creating spaces where they can thrive. For me, it’s the way WiTT not only connects technologists but also provides actionable resources and opportunities for personal and professional growth. It’s a place where mentorship and community intersect, and that’s incredibly powerful. WiTT’s emphasis on diversity and inclusion aligns closely with my own values and experiences, making it a truly special organization." More about Dr. T: ? Role Models: I have several role models who inspire me in unique and meaningful ways. Audre Lorde, Malcolm X, James Baldwin, and Oprah Winfrey have all shaped my perspective on leadership, equity, and the power of authenticity. Their courage and voices continue to guide me in both life and work. My greatest inspiration, however, comes from my family. Each of my kids brings something extraordinary into my life. Gabrielle is polite yet firm, always holding her ground with grace. Remle embodies pure love and reminds me of the importance of compassion. Dess is decisive and honors who they are unapologetically, teaching me the beauty of authenticity. And my daughter Trinity, whose resilience and brilliance led me into tech, continues to push me to create spaces where everyone can thrive. Last but certainly not least, my partner Eugene is the epitome of patience and kindness—qualities I deeply admire, especially since it takes a lot of both to be partnered with me for life! My family keeps me grounded and inspired to do the work I love. ? Favorite food: I’m a chef at heart, so food is a passion of mine! My favorite food is a perfectly prepared risotto—creamy, comforting, and endlessly versatile. It’s a dish that reflects both creativity and precision, which resonates with me as a technologist and creator. Plus, there’s something deeply satisfying about turning simple ingredients into something extraordinary. ? One wish: If I had one wish, it would be to create a tech industry where diversity and inclusion are no longer aspirations but the standard. I want to see a world where technologists from all backgrounds—especially those who are neurodiverse, women, and from other underrepresented groups—can thrive without having to fight for a seat at the table. My wish is for every technologist to feel empowered, valued, and supported in their career journey. And to be stupidly rich of course... #WomeninTech #NashvilleTechLeaders

This year Trinity and I have decided to focus Repped In Tech? on the strengths and passions we have to uplift our community and amplify our neurodiverse strengths and the strengths of others in our neurodiverse-first tech community through Repped School. We are the FIRST ND Tech Commuity in these streets! There is MUCH more coming, but if your #LinkedIn profile can use some love and you need a system that you can always go back to to keep it fresh, there are TWO (2) ways you can get that support. 1. Attend the upcoming WKU Event on Thursday: https://lnkd.in/exMrVmqG 2. Sign up for the FREE live, virtual cohort: https://lnkd.in/esnjzftz So, if you’ve been on the fence or unsure of how you fit, watch the video to see what we are all about.

Therapy has taught me that you can’t keep bleeding on people who didn’t cut you. The only way to stop the bleeding is to heal—and surround yourself with folks who are doing the same work. This photo dump is a love letter to the incredible humans I’ve had the joy to live life with over the past few weeks. We deserve light. We deserve love. And we absolutely deserve to be seen—fully, loudly, and unapologetically—everywhere we show up. Including the places we learn and work. This is why diversity matters. Because life is only worth living when everyone gets to live fully in it.
