He was also the head of an orientation backpacking program for first-years in college. Jasper is passionate about connecting young people to climate-related jobs.

Nominations are now open for the 2025 Renewable Energy Education Awards, honoring students, educators, and institutions impacting the future energy workforce. Presented by REpowering Schools & KidWind Project, Inc. Students, educators, and institution and industry leaders are asked to nominate themselves or others by March 31, 2025. The awards recognize the outstanding work that educators and industry leaders are doing to support renewable energy education at all levels to ensure a diverse and qualified workforce. REpS and KidWind will recognize individuals or organizations that don't readily fall into the education or industry categories (i.e., non-profits, legislators, state energy offices, etc.) for their contributions supporting renewable energy education and workforce development. Noelle serves as Treasurer on a National Nonprofit Board called EcoWomen, which works to empower women to seek leadership in sustainability and environmentally conscious fields. A retired professional ballet dancer, Noelle is also active in the arts community in Washington, D.C. Noelle earned her BA in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Chicago and Master of Public Administration from DePaul University, for which she is the current Chapter Leader for the DC DePaul University Alumni Committee.
