Proud Moments in Disaster Relief Collaboration ???? In the past two days, our CTO, Tiegeng (Tim) Ren, and Head of Engineering, Keith Desrosiers, delivered two more our mobile power stations to the Footprint Project in Mars Hill, NC. The Footprint Project has been on the ground in North Carolina for the past month, providing emergency power through microgrids to sustain critical infrastructure during this challenging time. We’re thrilled that our solutions are helping to keep essential services like medical clinics, water pumps, and irrigation systems running when they’re needed most. Our team also had the privilege of connecting with some incredible folks from Schneider Electric on-site. As Schneider Electric/ APC by Schneider Electric alums, we’re proud to join forces once again with our “mothership,” working together to deliver sustainable solutions in critical areas. A huge thank you to Will Heegaard, Jamie Swezey, Rae Goldman, Nate Heegaard, and the entire Footprint Project team for their tireless dedication in responding to Hurricane Helene and helping with logistics! And a special shoutout to Robert Roseman for connecting us with Schneider—your support has been invaluable. The REON team had a great time last week at Greentown Labs' 2024 ClimateTech Summit! In the morning, we were lucky to hear from corporate leaders such as GE Vernova's Scott Strazik and Limor Spector, PhD, to see pitches from exciting new climate startups such as M2X Energy Inc., and to receive advice on funding strategies from investors in public and private spaces. That afternoon, we were able to talk to people about our products and mission, connecting with like-minded individuals while promoting clean energy storage solutions. We particularly enjoyed collaborating with Provocative, powering their demo with our Mobile Power Station. It was incredibly inspiring to find ourselves in a space with so many other startups and industry leaders working to make the world a better, more sustainable space. Thank you to Greentown Labs for putting on this amazing event and giving startups such as REON a space to develop, connect, learn, and grow. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending Climate Beacon 2024 at the Boston Society for Architecture. Thank you so much to Alex Richman for the opportunity to attend this wonderful event. The day was packed with insightful panels and a forward-thinking crowd accelerating a climate-forward future! ? We were also able to power the check-in desk with one of our Mobile Power Stations! Thank you to High Output, LLC for bringing the unit along. ?? Both the Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll and City of Boston Mayor Michelle Wu shared inspiring plans and perspectives about our 400-year-old Commonwealth as a beacon for climate innovation. Massachusetts has the talent, aspirations, and overall means to lead the world to net-zero (and is doing so!). We need to keep building and pushing policy forward!
