??Loving All Our Neighbors, All the Time??? In our latest blog post, RRCF’s Executive Director, LeAnne Moss, shares how her journey of service has been rooted in a simple but powerful call: Love your neighbor as yourself. She reflects on how this message also drives the work of RRCF and calls us to stand together for the dignity, safety, and belonging of everyone in South King County and beyond—especially in times of uncertainty and fear. ? ??Read more & take action:? https://lnkd.in/gFtXzJgF #LoveYourNeighbor #CommunityStrength #StandTogether #NonprofitsMatter #SouthKingCounty ? Timely and helpful responses to the recent, unfounded attacks on the nonprofit sector.
#DefendNonprofits #DefendDemocracy Roundup of news, analysis, and action from across the field. Nonprofits won’t be getting any Valentines from the White House this week. In fact, last Thursday, the Trump Admin issued a hateful little memo, in which they asserted a horrific lie. They stated that many government-funded nonprofits “actively undermine the security, prosperity, and safety of the American people.” But what the memo REALLY says is this: In just 3 weeks, our admin has undermined the security, prosperity, and safety of the American people. We need scapegoats — so we’ll attack charities! Circle of Giving: Supporting South King County Nonprofits ?? Since 1999, the Circle of Giving has been a powerful way to quickly support local nonprofits in South King County. This year, 27 donors came together to grant $32,150 to 20 organizations, ranging from Alimentando al Pueblo ??? (providing food and culture to the Latinx community) to the Renton Schools Foundation ?? (supporting the Principals Fund). Rather than accepting applications, the Circle of Giving relies on donors to recommend organizations to which they’re connected. Grants typically range from $500 to $4,000 and are used for operational support. Thank you to this year's Circle of Giving donors for making a lasting impact!? Since its inception, the Circle of Giving has awarded nearly $700,000 ?? to strengthen the infrastructure of nonprofits that make a difference in our community. If you’re interested in learning how to be part of next year’s Circle of Giving, contact the Renton Regional Community Foundation at [email protected].? ?? #CircleofGiving #CommunitySupport #NonprofitImpact #SouthKingCounty #TrustBasedPhilanthropy?
