KCHA is proud to be a partner with the RENTON HOUSING AUTHORITY at the grand opening of Sunset Gardens, their new 76-unit affordable housing building. KCHA is providing 38 Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) vouchers through a 20-year project-based voucher contract, worth about $13 million over 20 years. This partnership with Renton Housing Authority is the latest in a long history of collaboration that meets people’s needs, regardless of our government jurisdictional boundaries. A huge thank you to the KCHA Social Impact and Housing Choice Voucher teams, and to our partners at the City of Renton, the Renton Housing Authority, the King County Veterans Program, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
