Over the years, we have addressed various issues by integrating responsible psychological principles. In 2011 we added a play therapy program to serve ages 3-10. We believe God has incredibly blessed us and that the "best is yet to come." We have always been located on the Katy Freeway in West Houston to provide easy access to the most thriving area in Houston and westward. Renewing Hope has added many excellent therapists and helped train interns and practicum students.

Imagine being 18 with no support system. Where would you be? (Be Honest) ?? This weekend, Jaclyn Kurtela and I joined over 350 Houstonians at Upbring's HTX Gala, and beyond the unexpected auction rivalry with my so-called "partner in crime" ?? ... we witnessed the profound impact a small group can make on the lives of children in dire need. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Diane Covert, CFRE, Holly Raymond, Roxy Riefkohl, PhD, LPC-S, Shelby Mallett, Michael Loo, and the entire Upbring fundraising team, the gala raised well over $350,000 for youth aging out of foster care! But why does this matter so much? The statistics are sobering: researchers have found that up to 46% of youth exiting #fostercare experience homelessness by age 26. ?? This weekend, the Houston community and our incredible CE Team took a stand: youth aging out of care at Upbring mater and they aren't just another statistic; They are you, they are me, and they are worth investing in. Thank you, Houston, and thank you to the Upbring team. We are proud to be a part of this community. #CommunityImpact
