This week, I was speaking with an alumni coordinator, and we both agreed—the hardest part of the job is the death notice that crosses your desk. When I first started working in treatment, in the alumni department, I quickly realized that while compassion was essential, I had to focus on the living—on those showing up for their own recovery—without ever believing I was somehow more worthy or useful than the addict who didn’t make it. The March winds have swept powerfully through the recovery community, taking with them many of our trusted and loyal servants. Addiction claims lives in many ways, leaving behind ripples of loss and remembrance. Today, let us honor their struggles, acknowledge their journey, and send our love and support to the families left behind.

Sure – our company staff could’ve attended like we do every year but we thought it was more impactful to have them attend and be proud of all the work they’ve done to recover. This event is not just a gathering; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who have worn the uniform and have sacrificed so much for our freedom.? Carepossible, a dedicated nonprofit organization, is committed to providing free treatment for veterans in crisis, ensuring that those who have served our country receive the support they need during challenging times. Over the past three years, Montare Behavioral Health and Renewal Health Group have proudly participated in this important event.
