关于我们

Renegade Kid was a videogame developer founded in 2007 by Jools Watsham and Gregg Hargrove. The team developed more than 12 critically acclaimed games, including Dementium: The Ward, Mutant Mudds, ATV Wild Ride, and Xeodrifter. Their debut title was Dementium: The Ward for Nintendo DS. In a market dominated by family-friendly Nintendo games and licensed properties, Renegade Kid made a bloody splash on the scene with a mature themed first-person survival horror game. Dementium: The Ward was celebrated for its creepy atmosphere and smooth framerate. From its humble handheld beginnings on Nintendo DS, Renegade Kid went on to develop titles for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, PS Vita, iOS, PC, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and Xbox One. Renegade Kid officially closed its doors in 2016, although their final game was released in 2017. The difficult decision to close the company was a mutual one on the part of its founders. The games were divided up evenly between Watsham (Atooi) and Hargrove (Infitizmo), with the 2D titles going to Watsham and the 3D games going to Hargrove. Hargrove and Watsham were friends for many years prior to forming Renegade Kid, and they continued to be good friends afterwards. They met regularly for lunch in Austin, Texas to chat about life, work, and games. Sadly, Hargrove passed away in 2018 due to pancreatic cancer. His incredible contributions as art director to the games of Renegade Kid will not be forgotten. Gregg was a very friendly, positive, and creative person. He is deeply missed.
